A fine finishing operation is critical to every quality lithographer. Whether it be folding, die-cutting, scoring, pasting, padding, gluing or cutting, any or all of these operations can "make or break" a job. At Spectra Print Corporation we take pride in our bindery operations. Every job is meticulously sorted to eliminate "run-up" sheets and "make-readies". Precise folding to ensure alignment of "gutter-jumps" is essential to the completion of a fine printed piece. Hand bindery operations are performed at a pace consistent with the quality standards that you have learned to expect. A myriad of pieces of equipment are at your disposal: folders, cutters, drills, padding machines in addition to an eight pocket Mueller Martini saddle-gatherer with a folder-feeder and three-knife trimmer. On this equipment, we can finish a 128 page booklet with a 4-page cover, scored, stitched and trimmed in one pass. The bindery may be the last part of the manufacturing process, but on some jobs, it may be the most important. Shipping Our Staff
