  Oscar A. Hofmeister founded Valley Sales as a "one-man trading stamp business". He took pride in his work and produced and sold the stamps himself. Today, as a family owned business, Spectra Print Corporation continues to take great pride in producing the highest quality work for you.

Spectra Print Corporation
  was originally named Valley Sales Company and was founded in 1930 by Oscar A. Hofmeister who sold and distributed trading stamps "throughout the valley". In 1958 Oscar's son Richard joined him in the business. The two Hofmeisters installed their first "offset" press in 1959 and became Spectra Print - commercial printers and lithographers - leaving the trading stamp business to fend for itself and to embark into the world of color lithography. In 1984, Richard's son Eric joined the company and daughter Heidi followed a year later. In 1991, his other son, Hans came aboard. All are corporate officers and active in the business. Today Spectra Print Corporation is considered a leader in all phases of equipment and technology in the graphic arts - from state-of-the-art digital front-end technology and up to 41" six-color presses with perfecting and coating capabilities.
